In all seriousness, probably a tie between this one, led zep i and houses.

okay so real talk zep thread, is it just me or does no quarter sound very sabbath inspired (think planet caravan) obviously not the distorted riff but everything else

This is my fave [2]
IV runs it close though

Quarter kind of has a heavier riff, but much more eloquent than Sabbath

Sabbath>Zep for me.
Both bands are fantastic though.

II is their best in my opinion, also personally Zep is way above than Sabbath

I was referring to the songs presented not the bands really, but it is hard to choose between the 2, Sabbath probably

Led Zep are really impressive live.

Never been a fan of live Zep tbh. Bonzo rules of course but I really think Plant is pretty underwhelming live

They rather form a solid team live. They all go in the same direction even when they flirt with improvs.

I still enjoy their live records but they don't form a team as solid as Purple was live, you gotta admit that
Don't get me wrong, I still love Zeppelin and they're definitely among my favorite bands. But I really don't think they're the best of the big three 'ol school heavy metal bands, damn I don't even think they should be on that top three. I prefer Uriah Heep, Rainbow or early Queen to them tbh
