I can see it, even though this is without a doubt one of my favorite records of all time. The pitched or warped vocals in nearly every song can be really off putting, especially since Frank has such a great voice without it. Though I have grown to love this about the album, I really did hate that it was on the album so much. Not only that but on the first few listens, I thought a lot of the tracks weren't catchy (other than like Solo and Self Control) and just sounded like fragments of unfinished ideas (particularly Close to You and Skyline To).
