pretty gutted about this, obviously I get the movement is important at the moment and what Evan did was wrong, but it really does pale in comparison to the rest of what has come out.

Haven't gotten into these guys as much as others, but I do like their sound and it's rather unique in the scene. Hope the album comes out sooner than later, they have the potential for better

i think they'd manage... his statement was too vague to guarantee a backlash. but I suspect the 'victim' would come out with her own allegations if they do return

if I'm not mistaken it seems as if the one thing he truly did wrong was leverage the victim's job as their photographer for their relationship. I don't think we will ever get a clear answer on the degree of this sexual coercion, but I don't think I want to. At least Evan is currently taking steps to better themselves and hopefully right some of the wrongs.

you can't know that what he did wasn't bad bc you can't assume he told the full truth in his statement
in any event there's no point arguing about the semantics of it until he emerges from rehab/wherever he checked himself in to deal with his problems. until then we can only speculate and that hasn't done anyone any good so far so why keep going yanno
