I dig FML tho. Waves is cool. Feedback is dope in a weird way too. I'm not too high on anything else on here though

father stretch my hands, feedback, highlights, waves, real friends, & 30 hours are the highlights to me - though i don't really hate anything on here & have listened to the album as a whole a few times by now
ultralight beam is great but i kinda get progressively less enthused about listening to it with each playthrough

You know, now that I've listened to this around 15 times or so I think I agree with your comments on ULB. First listen I really loved it and each subsequent jam has lost its shine a bit. But it's still a great track and a great opener, in my opinion.

"yeah the blind fans who praise everything he does are quite strange as well"
"are there any of those tho? I've never met one, online or otherwise"

Same, this may be just a 3 but it's the most interesting 3 I've ever heard.

Tbh I love everything Kanye has done too, to the point where I'm not sure if my love for this would be there if it were somebody I didn't like whose name were on the cover, but you know I'm only human and have biases and can rationalize things so

kanye has a metric shit ton of stans, yeah.

i'm only one song into this, and i like it better than anything Kendrick's done since 2012.
not that they're super comparable, just sayin'
yeezy is the man

If this album were made by somebody else, it wouldn't be the same album in any particular way at all
No rapper other than Kanye could've made something like this

not sure what you mean by that
obviously the raps are kanye through and through, but the beats would be sick no matter what name was on the album

idk there's certainly a budget aspect to an album like this
idk how expensive it was but to assemble an album like this (or my god, like mbdtf) can't be cheap

sure no doubt, this wasn't cheap to make. but i can't imagine it was more expensive than anything Kendrick, A$AP, etc have made recently

probably not. TPAB might have even cost more than this with the insane amount of studio musicians and guest producers and guest rappers it had.
But still regardless the list of people that could have made an album even as relatively mildly ambitious as this (or again, much more like MBDTF) is quite short

i agree, i'm just not sure what the relevance is to this discussion. famous rapper makes expensive album -- where's the revelation?
this is my first time listening to this album, but damn, i really dig it. i'll admit to being a fan of kanye in general, but i feel like this is his 3rd or 4th best release overall
