I just really dislike [most of] his music for reasons I've gone into detail about previously. I often jokingly exaggerate my dislike as it's so easy to get a rise out of Wilson fans.

I think a lot of people exaggerate their opinions on here smaug, and also my statements on the previous page weren't meant to be taken that seriously. I thought the way they were worded made that pretty obvious, just like people who rip on Wilson are mainly just joking around.

I can understand people not liking his music and/or thinking he's obnoxious, it just gets annoying when users constantly repeat themselves with insults on his threads and stopping real discussion from happening, even though they're joking most of the time.

It really isn't that obvious and if you read them back again I think you'd agree that it sounds like you're somewhat annoyed and serious. But no sweat if you weren't.

I am annoyed with the comments when people are just doing it to hate on him for no reason other than to be "funny," but I was also trying to be funny about it by saying they have worthless lives. As you said, it'd be a ridiculous statement if you take it seriously.
