The new Musk Ox we're recording right now will still be a trio release like Woodfall but I feel it represents a more mature approach compared to the previous album. There will be some shorter tunes but also some epics. If you liked Woodfall you will like it, or talk about how it isn't Woodfall haha.

Raph's work on the new Leprous is really amazing and he is preparing to release a solo cello album next year that is seriously incredible.

Now that I've recorded my guitars for the new Ox I'm mostly focusing on promoting the third album from my instrumental progressive folk metal project The Night Watch which also features Evan from Musk Ox. I wager it's more like a community eagerly anticipating the next album. I've gotten very much into neofolk over the last three or four years and this was absolutely the catalyst.
