Ok, but I didn't even bring up white privilege ITT. We were originally talking about whether or not Eminem is homophobic for using gay slurs in his music, I said people have a double standard for slurs, and someone said white privilege justifies that double standard.

i dont get how out of all his albums, this is the one you are going to call immature, or '15 year old rebellion phase'. On SSLP and MMLP theres his most immature, goofiest tracks, theres kim, his most immature song ever, The Way I Am, Kill You, Bitch Please 2, the real slim shady, just dont give a fuck, still dont give a fuck etc.

that is the problem, he tries to play it safe to not offend anyone then tries to offend someone by including whoever's relevant at the moment (amanda bynes, bruce jenner)

you also have to put in the factor of age, as Em was 24-30 when he recorded his first four albums.
He was 41 when this came out, of course trying to rap about something like killing his wife or whoever wasn't going to cut it anymore. What does he do to replace a mainstay of his classic albums? Pointless guest spots in order to get on the charts and sell records, I mean you can try and deny it and say it was Em being mature, but that is exactly why we have stuff like "Headlights" and "Stronger Than I Was". Come on now.
