Surprisingly, everybody went there.

"No. That's The Final Cut." That is Floyds lowest point.

And ummagumma is underrated.

One of the more interesting Floyd albums for sure. I'd say its their fourth best.

"Gilmour > Waters vox"

Waters at least has personality. Gilmour sounds like that music you listen to while waiting on the phone to a public institution.
"Can you see your days blighted by darkness?
Is it true you beat your fists on the floor?"
YOU ARE NOW SEVENTH IN LINE
"Stuck in a world of isolation
While the ivy grows over the door"

I really liked this and Lapse of Reason the first few times I heard them but they've grown off me over time. The Final Cut is solid, but the singing gets so bad that it ruins a lot of it for me.
'70s Floyd ftw, all their best work is in that decade (not a controversial statement I know)

Could be controversial to someone who thinks Piper or Saucerful is their best ;)
(I am not that someone)

Their 60s albums are great but not on the same level as pretty much everything from the 70s. I think Saucerful is my favorite pre-Meddle Floyd.
High Hopes is amazing, their best post-70s song along with Marooned.

love 60s floyd though its a bit hit or miss
those colorful pop jams like emily and apples & oranges, and the space rock jams of domine and overdrive are some of my favorite floyd

Definitely the best PF album post-Rogers, "High Hopes" is up there with some of the classic material.

4. Marooned
5. What do you Want From Me
6. Take it Back
7. Learning to Fly
8. Sorrow
9. Louder Than Words

Their best post-70’s song is easily Two Suns in the Sunset for me.
That’s in reply to Talons as I know you (SirLord) were just doing post-Waters tracks.
