word, I hadn't really looked at side a as that experimental but I'm starting to see your angle

I feel like that's selling it short; I don't think any of the songs are formulaic like that statement implies. Part of the appeal is how Danny completely owns really weird, unorthodox beats (Handstand, Break It, Smokin n Drinkin). And I think Float On is definitely one of the best tracks. I hope the final track is always one of the best ones on all his future LPs.
But yeah this album rules so much like damn, it creates such good discussion and varied opinions. That's one true mark of a good album imo.

@Aids not calling Side B boring or monotonous at all, but the sonic palette is definitely smaller. Even with their colourful nuances, most of the songs on Side B have a common trappy club feel to them. I guess I just like the mercurial nature of Side A more
