The Chariot is more sincere and DIY.

Long Live.

The chariot is up and down... then again, so is norma jean I suppose. One wing was pretty fantastic; I wish NJ could release something again of fantastic caliber.

No way. The Chariot has been up for their past three albums

Every Chariot record was better than the last one tbh.

nah. Wars and rumours of wars fell short. Definitely some lackluster moments in that album; parts that just seem to be there because they didn't know what else to do.

...so i guess in that case, yes, their albums are getting better. But i enjoyed the fiancée a fair bit.

The Fiancee is the worst they've done in my opinion. Wars is my favorite behind One Wing and Long Live

what made you give wrongdoers a 4.5 xing? I'm interested to know what you liked so much about this album.

I think they drastically stepped up their game and crafted something that I would rank amongst their best and they did so by combining all of their styles. You have the hard hitting tracks that they are known for and the more melodic ones that they've been doing recently and I feel they blended them seamlessly. The instrumentation isn't taking a back seat to focus on vocal melodies, everyone is just working together

That makes enough sense. And not to say that it's not hard-hitting or chaotic at parts, i just find those parts leaving me wanting more.

I thought this was wearing off on me so I gave it a break, came back and now I love it even more

It's just really creative and well thought out, fucking pissed and emotionally charged. Sun Dies is the best closer they could have done, so much more rewarding than the closer on Meridional The string touches on that song make it super epic

I had this at a 4 for a while when it came out but I haven't gone more than a few days since it released without feeling compelled to jam it, so I felt a 4.5 was needed

If this is the end I don’t feel a damn thing

My tired feet matter no more

It seems the things I tend to believe always fall to my feet

To dig my shallow graves

You must have known this before you even woke up

YOU SHOULD HAVE KNOWN THIS YEARS AGO
