i liked it on first listen too, it just takes a while to notice some of the little things that make the album (like how fucking creepy and bizarre the title track is)
|
| |
I liked this right away cause they are incredibly talented musicians but I didn't understand it for a long time. Then I realized that this the best album ever.

rolling stone tells people to hate rush? wtf who pulls that shit
@rabbit: i might be starting to agree w/ you that this and amnesiac are tied.
|
| |
well they are essentially a double disc as all the songs but life in a glasshouse were recorded at the same time.
They are essentially two different view points at the same thing.

ever catch the "oddly farmiliar" chord progression in knives out?
|
| |
well it samples what would have been the end of pyramid if it didn't fall apart if that's what you mean. I would listen to again but no radiohead till the new album.

not what i'm talking about. the beginning of that song and paranoid android is essentially the same thing...weird
|
| |
...want weird.
Listen to OkC and In Rainbows mixed together so track 1 track 1 track 2 track 2.
songs trail out and into each other from albums 10 years apart.

rabbit i just googled it and read this in a comment
Not as massive as some of the comments here, but I put "OK Computer In Rainbows" into an anagram machine, and one of the things that came out was "Combination Super Work".

fitter happier and karma police are put together
it starts and ends with a song from OKC
|
| |
fitter happier goes to its original place at the very beginning forgot about that

Album Rating: 5.0
Why are those two put together?
Anyway, by track 3 this is already pretty epic.
|
| |
or put it with karma police. I like it at the beginning. It gets better if you have 10 seconds of crossfade between each song. cause 10 is radiohead's number.

No crossfade on my iPod
|
| |
it isn't nessecary it is just both albums were realised 10 years apart on 10/10 of their respected year. IR has 2 10's on the album cover. OKC's working title was 01 IR was 10.
|
| |
track 1 then track 1 then track 2 then track 2. Just count fitter happier and karma police as the same song.
|
| |
yep. Don't expect it to be life changing but it is still pretty awesome. At the very least you get to listen to two radiohead albums.
