Swee, Exmilitary is p similar to Money Store, except not as busy and glitchy. Way more atmosphere based, hope you dig!

I know what you mean, Pleb. Their albums are always hard growers for me, even when I enjoy them a ton at first.

srry to give an opposite opinion but thats my job around here: exmilitary will not remind you of tms. its a LOT louder, a LOT more raw, to the point where if youre listening with headphones you might have a headache at the end. exmilitary doesnt give a fuck what you think about it. thats why its the best dg album. the production approach is completely different and the vocals rarely let up the intensity

i dont care if you dislike exmil or tms, just be aware that they arent less dirty or less panicked than this album. ; )

I dunno, I spose when you look at it like that Mal you are right. Exmil is more sample based and def more inaccessible. Just some of the hooks on Exmil remind me of TMS, probably where I drew the similarities from.

yea, theres a reason why a WHOLE BUNCH of new DG supporters suddenly popped up when TMS came out... because it

was a much different sounding album.

I just picked this album up on vinyl for $20 at Newbury Comics. If you're in the New England area, hop on that. I'm amazed I found it.
