listened to this for the millionth time today and i really cant see how there are a lot of huge opeth fans on here who think

this is super overrated/bloated. of course, opinions and whatnot, but this is such an immense album and imo, a fully

realized culmination of everything they had been working towards. idk.

Agreed so hard. If MAYH doesn't live up to the hype when I listen to it this will probably remain my fav Opeth album.

Well, there is a big differnce to like something and to be a fan of something.



In other words, i'm not listening them regularly, i listen only 4 or 5 albums of their discography and аlthough I like them i don't think i ever gonna give more than a 4 for an Opeth album. It's like "damn this is rly good fuck yea i like it", but in the same time i perfer to listen more often other death metal (I consider Opeth as a death metal band, except 2 albums and few other songs) bands. Or other bands in general, whatever.
