It's like sappy faux "indie" made for ads and television shows that rolls so many bad pop trends together but tosses a few indie cliches in there to make it more hip. I could link to some more commercials to support my case

So at the Grammy nomination night thing they performed 'We Are Young' with a big backing arrangement
behind them done by Nico Muhly. Nico f'ing Muhly! Next album better having him on arrangements. It'd
be much better than this.
