the first few times I listened to this,I thought it really sucked.
then I realised it isn't that bad and musically is pretty good.Yes,walker's lyrics are terrible imo(the only acceptable lyrics of the album are these that arif wrote, yet they're not remarkable either),but,in general, musically the album is increbidly technical.
I didn't like it as much as kezia or fortress,no doubt about this, but it doesn't deserve the hate I gave to it in the beginning.

There is so much fail in this comment that I don't even know where to start.

And now you don't? This is not a hard album to get into tbh...

Grammar errors, it's spelled incredibly and have you even read any of their lyrics? C'est La Vie for example is filled with great ironic wordplays.

And why the fuck is that?

exactly.to be more specific,in kezia and fortress,it happened to like only the first 4-5 songs of each album.the rest of the tracks were not bad,but for me,they're not the kind of tracks that will stuck into my head for days or months, something that happens with bloodmeat, sequoia throne,no stars over bethlehem, divinity within, bury the hatchet etc.except c'est la vie,I got the feeling the album was full of tracks that are just good and that's all, nothing special.

sorry for the grammar errors, but english is not my maternal language and I'm really trying my best to make sense.the"increbidly" part was obviously just a misstype,I'm not THAT bad.

c'est la vie's lyrics are written by Arif.I emphasized the fact that I find rody's lyrics laughable.Arif's lyrics are good.Nothing more, nothing less.

Tried to explain it above.

Lay off the guy- his comment was very easy to understand. Not everybody speaks English the same way that you do, or spends time ensuring that the grammar in their comment is flawless, either.

I do feel that a lot of the lyrics are just stupid... I don't mind ALL that much, but of course, I would have preferred better ones.
"Everyone knows that cancer takes bites of every family, and it eats some families whole."
"Kev's hair just keeps falling out and Chris just keeps getting fatter."

the cancer lyric is an annoying way to open a song but the Kev and Chris lyric is whatever

C'est La Vie's wordplays are so blatant that they're boring

Hair-Trigger was good , I felt like laughing when I found out that Rody was fucking with me and the song was about weed

I like this band a lot, but I just couldn't get into this album as much as the previous two.

For me, the Kev and Chris line just irks me a bit because it feels like it's at the song's pinnacle... It makes the song seem like a joke. But what a musically pleasing joke it may be!

I liked the new THA & BTBAM, but not this surprisingly. Those bands seem to move in pairs. The new big three. Just couldn't dig this.

I perfered Digital Veil greatly to this. I always liked Rody, but I can't stand him on this. Travis actually has vocals I enjoy. The Pax Cecilia-esque clean vocals do it for me. Plus, I'm a sucker for including classical pieces on guitar.

I find myself drawn to Sextapes, Tapestry and Tandem the most out of these songs. C'est La Vie was enjoyable from the first listen, therefore leading to it being the first song I got tired of...

Tandem's chorus is so catchy.

This will probably end up being behind Fortress and Kezia for me. C'est La Vie is probably my favorite song on this.

Well written review, but I really cannot tolerate this album.

To me it just feels like the equivalent of a BTBAM jam session, no real direction with any of it. And the vocals severely killed it.

And here I was hoping they would be able to top Kezia.

The vocals killed it? I couldn't disagree more
