Production on this is not very good, but the album still slaps.

I love the production on this

It's that kinda muddy mid-00's -core production.

As soon as I saw "TheSpirit" was the next commenter I immediately knew he was going to disagree with what I said and try to argue about it.
Uninterested in arguing about it, btw. If this sounds like clear production to you then you need to get your ears checked. That's all I have to say on the matter.
Edit: I just realized how much of an asshole I am.

The production helps this album hit hard as fuck, the guitar is so vicious

Yeah, I can't argue with that. It's just not sparkly clean like the production on most newer -core albums, which is what I'm used to.

This and Horizons are great.

Agreed. First two Parkway Drive records do what melodic metalcore records ought to do:

Too bad you can't say the same about the albums that came after.

their first two are great but honestly i feel like Atlas as an album genuinely has a lot of overlooked moments. the title track, Dark Days, and The River are all top 10 PWD songs easily

deep blue and atlas both smash

Atlas is pretty good, but I personally prefer the first two. Last two are embarrassing.

Karma is a top 3 pwd track for me, although other than Sleepwalker i can't get into that record as much at all for some reason
