Also, I really dig Collins's backing vox on here.

PG is the virtuoso obv, but I think Collins's touch added something really special to the picture.

YOU'VE GOT TO GET IN TO GET OUUUUUOUT.

The Waiting Room still annoys me though, had to skip it.

Anyway is def one of the best on here.

Don't like TCoS or Ravine either tbh.

People will flame me, but I just feel that way.

The Colony of Slippermen is one of my favorites...that phaser/synth line is so fucking cool

Idk why, but a couple tracks on the 2nd disc just don't click with me.

I think I prefer the previous 3 albums tbh.

Prefer the previous two. This is much better than Nursery Cryme

Love every single song on here.

The Waiting Room is perfect for that particular part of the concept.

During the first half, I spend about half of energy waiting for The Colony of Slippermen.

In terms of vocal harmonies this prob does it better than any other Genesis album.

2nd disc has some of genesis' best songs, I definitely like the first a bit more overall though.

THE CARPET CRAWLERS
HEED THEIR CAAAALLERRRRSSS

So far I've heard this 4 times, maybe the 5th or 6th time will be the
charm.

Agreed Fripp that flute solo is amazing. I still can't make heads or tails of those lyrics, though. Something about Rael and the Lamia nibbling on each other's flesh. I read the booklet and I'm just as confused as before! Still I think I'm understanding carpet crawlers better. It's like "carpetbaggers" who are taking advantage of Rael's innocence...that's all I got haha

The lyrics in The Lamia are brilliant, probably the best Gabriel ever wrote imo.

Nope sorry Rowan, The Lamia's lyrics are perfection.

Just talking strictly lyrics here Fripp not music

The Lamia's lyrics are beautiful but they don't have the humour that Supper's Ready has
