Surprised it took so long. More people should check Nighttime Birds though.

Truth.
I'm actually pretty impressed this one ended up having the most ratings, it being a double album and all.
TG in general needs more ratings, although it's also nice to keep them a little bit of a hidden gem in a way.

"Serene and transcendental."
This exactly 💛
It's very worthy of a 5.0. And with how good this one works, why is there nothing like it out there??? Mind-boggling.

It's been about 18 years since I wrote this review and I just wanted to say I was wrong about the title track. It's amazing.

I bow to you, Lord of the thread

Hahaha! Maybe because it was worth repeating that statement because the t/t rules so much?
Second bow, thread is lovely.

Or is it because the t/t is so damn repetitive?
Jk Trif ;)

Sometimes when you repeat a phrase often enough it will transcend language.

An interesting question arises for those instances: what do the phrases become?
A transcendental truth?
A rhythmical backbone to thought or being?
A solid shape of sound?
And, very much on topic, is this what makes the t/t so good? Those ever-repeating washes of sound?
