For production value alone, this could have been released today and it wouldn't sound dated. Stuff like Closer sounds dated comparatively

I'm partial to this as well, but I agree its very difficult to choose. The Fragile is just monolithic.

I like TDS a smidge more than this but they are both god-tier albums in their own ways.

They played like 6 songs off of this just now in Colorado.
Fucking incredible show.

Sure I posted something about Year Zero, I love that one. This is definitely a grower (I just got muted, damn) heh but with the two discs it's a lot to process and burns slower with only some initial highlights. Year Zero means a lot to me and is my favorite, I also think it came out at such a cool and unpredictable time, social media was gonna ratchet up but it wasn't quite close to what it'll become.
I like the Fragile.

Catchy, godtier production, impressive songwriting and subtlety too. And unlike TDS the synths on here don't sound dated, so by default this is best NIN easily

I thought that was live in studio? Like just kind of a rough draft before they could properly produce it.
Either way, one of my favorite tracks ever.
