Good taste man. All those bands are major acts.

Last week I listened to Crime of the Century at least 3 times. Amazing record.

Hahaha. I personally prefer Animals and Wish You Were Here (I have them both 5'd) but this is an incredible album no doubt. Like Jethro I'll see what I can do.

"Out of all the classic prog acts, I think only Genesis, Yes and Supertramp still manage to give me as much pleasure as my first listen (in late 70's). And it's my favorite genre as we know it."

Love Supertramp. Crime of the Century will always be amazing when I listen to it.

Classic album-I would love to have lived in 1973 when this was released, just to see the reaction of everyone who listened to it for the first time.

In the 70s, every new prog release was received as a treat. DSOTM was just one of many. And as we know it, a masterpiece of prog takes couple of weeks to digest. So yes, people had no particular reaction when album came out back in 1973.

Alan Parsons deserves a lot of credit for production on this one. One of the best albums of the last 50 years
