I've finally been getting into this band for the first time, and I must say I'm fucking blown away. I really wish I got into them sooner, but for some reason I was always stalling on it

I've already heard this, Enemy of the Sun, and Through Silver in Blood now, and they're all quite amazing. I really love the dense, bleak atmosphere of their stuff (plus, dem riffs)

The end of To Crawl Under One's Skin is probably one of the most creepy, unnerving moments I've heard in a metal song

Love that album cover too, fitting tribute to an equally unnerving movie.

Yeah, considering this album pioneered post-metal, sludge metal (alongside Melvins and Alice in Chains of course), a lot of death/doom, and the more extreme side of progressive metal, as well as a shit-ton of avant-garde music

Yeah, they started their own label and helped other bands to get their head out too. I love these guys. Enjoy the show man. m////
