Just picked up the CE for this, I never realised how:
a) immature Brent is; and
b) how bogan Bill and Brann are.
Troy is the only one coming off as 'cool' from the videos on the CE. It makes me kinda sad...
Although I still am digging the album.

yep yep, collectors edition. With lots of band interviews and things. Which kinda takes away the mystique that they purposefully did this. It almost feels like they lucked into this album/sound after watching the vids, lol.

I've been listening to this again lately in anticipation of seeing an upcoming Mastodon/Converge/Dethklok/High on Fire concert and I've discovered a new love for it. The last 2-3 tracks strike me as pretty emotional in a fantastical, unrealistic, magical kind of way. Sort of like a Howl's Moving Castle or Castle in the Sky vibe.
