this album is very good, but is WAY overhyped. Yea its one of the better albums this year, but its not vying for the top spot on my list. It has some absolutely killer songs, but still some songs that I skip over every time I listen (which pretty much eliminates it from getting a 4.5 or 5 from me)..
I guess I'll just have to chalk it up to not everyone is going to agree on everything, because no matter how much I enjoy this, there isnt even a consideration of a 5 or even 4.5 for me. I did debate between a 3.5 and 4 though.
Overall its about a 7.5/10 for me.

I find this really funny.
Animal Collective have put out another solid release with this one but as with all their albums it begins to wear thin on me. 'Feels' is still their best.
