I saw Cynic tonight, it was amazing. I got to meet Masvidal and get a picture with him.
I couldn't believe how many people were actually there to see Dragonforce.

Overrated. Very boring.
Don't get me wrong; I like some calm music (after all, I love progressive trance & ambient trance),
but this album comes across as like... a band trying to be energetic and passionate, but it comes out
wrong. Every drum hit, every guitar riff... just so airy and non-energetic. Too many melodic &
percussive breaks. No passion whatsoever. So lifeless. I'm assuming that was the intention, but it
doesn't work. At least not for me.
I tried, though. I really did, lol. Just not for me. I'll give it a 1.5, though, for having a few
interesting solos.
