Count Your Blessings was endless deathcore guitar riffs over breakdowns

It was sick

Well, guitars in Suicid Season are even less outstanding then.

In the end their debut and sophomore are both forgettable. But they started improving afterwards.

Yeah I still wonder how they got a pig into the recording studio and even managed to make it pronounce a few real words within all those squeaking.

I actually used to be a huge BMTH fan when I was younger, and i would still give them the time of day now, quite a big deathcore fan, listen to some metalcore, anyway count your blessings sucks bar a few songs, this album is passable and the later 2 are good, but this band gets some serious dick - riding and I don't know why. However they do put emotion into their works. I'm not a hater, I just don't get it feel me? - that's my book anyways

Yeah, I didn't mind either.

Think a lot of the disappointment for Sempiternal falls on the lack of great build ups. The t/t for this, Chelsea Smile and then on There's a Hell... they showed an even better progression on build up's, but Sempiternal just doesn't know how to do it.

They always struck me as passionate and sad personally. Rarely does oli's voice strike me that way, if ever.
