"They both have Josh Homme shredding hard so its comparable, especially when he shreds harder alongside one of em"

yeah you're right. now let's compare nevermind and songs for the deaf. both have dave grohl on drums so they're comparable despite the fact that, like qotsa and kyuss, they sound nothing alike.

My mind is just drawing a blank as to where josh homme shreds on any song other than demon cleaner which has some fast playing towards the end

It's such a shame that Josh and Scott seem to be enemies with John and Brant now.

"Where"

Gardenia, Green Machine, Little Sister, and that's JUST the SINGLES!!!

(granted Gardenia was not a single, but it's well known enough compared to the album to be considered as one)

At least they were together long enough to make Sky Valley and Red Sun

The "shredding" on Little Sister (which is really slide guitar) is played by Troy Van Leuwen.

Gardenia does not have shredding

Shredding is a term usually reserved for playing that utilizes a technique called tremolo picking (think Eddie Van Halen or Yngwie Malmsteen).

This album is some serious gourmet shit! Usually, I would be happy with some freeze-dried stoner rock, but they spring this serious GOURMET shit on us!
