Some of the samples on this are really weird.

I only just noticed the cat mewing recently. And then the sample reminiscent of what a jazz musician does...

Took you long enough hehehehe.

I like the samples aslong as they are somewhat tasteful and not whored through out the whole album.

I agree with you about this, and about breakdowns as well. PTH is tasteful and rare about those, too.

despite all the hype this album sounds pretty good from what ive heard off my friends MP3 bloodmeat is such a good song.

The vocals are much better on this album than Kezia.

Hype isn't bad, but it can get out of control just like anything else.

Yeah, just look at The Crusade.

Overhyped albums just disappoint in a particularly cruel way I think.

Yes but hype doesn't just have to be word of mouth, it could be media related or from the artist mouth directly, i.e. Tom Delonge.

True. Most forms of hype are annoying though.

Meh It doesn't really bother me, cause when it comes down to it, it's just you and the album.

Wretch' intro sounds like a progressive metal song... i'm loving this album

but I think kezia is a little bit better... dunno why... maybe for the bass

...which you can hardly hear on Kezia, the bass is more audible here.

I'm surprised at how different this actually sounds from Kezia though, I pretty much expected Kezia pt.II, but then they pull this out of the bag, it's pretty awesome.

I think the only thing Kezia has on this is catchiness and accessibility. Everything else goes to Fortress.

Thats not a pro in my eyes, anyone can make something catchy i.e. panic, falloutboy.

I didn't mean it was necessarily good or bad, but that it had more of those things.
