I caught the last show in Seattle last night. I am so happy to have seen that. Y’all, it broke me

Was there a large turnout at your show? They played a 2500 capacity venue in my city and *maybe* 400 people showed up

The showbox in seattle is not a massive venue. It looked to be nearly sold out and I bet that’s only like 750 people in their hometown

And not a good crowd. This was the second time I’ve seen them and people just don’t have any energy. Maybe I’m just 31 going on 21 but MTB makes my ass move, goddamn

I've seen them at the same venue several times and it's usually packed but to see them not even fill up 1/5th of a venue that they usually fill in was really saddening.

With a tour of their best album! It might be just a matter of this being their twilight years. I tell you what though, I was lit up to finally be seeing Planet of Ice songs. I saw them on the Omni tour and the set list was just ok but this was phenomenal

I had a feeling these guys were going to hang up the towel after seeing them in June and sure enough, they announced their farewell tour dates today.

Hey, don't forget Beer Commercials EP. That's one of their best.

They are (were?) a good band, yes. If you haven't heard them, their first three LP's and first three EP's are very much worth listening to. Everything else, not so much.

P.s. this is the Botch guitarist doing indie/mathrock and I know you like Botch
