terrible lyrics, super simple octave riff thing is rly annoying after a while, chorus is weak. i used to find it catchy but i dno its a bit stilton for me and not the good 80s kind
everything turns out ok though cos my ashes is nice and anesthetize is fucking awesome, then i turn the album off

kinda agreed with Kill tbh. When I jam the t/t lately it's the instrumental version I found a while back. The three songs after it are incredible though.

Well the album is still new to me, so we'll see how it holds up down the line. For the time being, I love the title track.

It's a good song for sure especially the outro but some of the lyrics are a bit much

Could be intentional, sort of a sensory overload to reinforce the person feeling like they're stoically going over the edge, filling their life with distractions. I'm not one to normally pay attention to lyrics and even when I do, I tend to be picky, but I rather enjoy them here, even though they're written in a way that would normally annoy me.

"Xbox is a god to me. A finger on the switch. My mother is a bitch. My father gave up ever trying to talk to me."
idk the subject matter of the song maybe just doesn't appeal to me I think

the point of the album is that youth today are being more and more anesthetized through media and pharmaceuticals. The lyrics are more extreme and on the nose because that's what it takes to even get a baseline feeling these days.
