favourite neurosis riff is probably that opening one on The Doorway. The song only has like three riffs total anyways and they all slay but the way it just hits you is perfect

actually I think Through Silver In Blood (the track) has maybe the most crushing riff at like 2:40. The bass slides and then the guitars just fucking blitz
