Enjoy the Silence was actually the one that I distinctly remember coming out back in the day and being mesmerised by it. From what I can recall it was on the Saturday morning kids tele show Motormouth (or something like that?) the vid played with Dave doing his King Canute sthick and it’s stuck with me ever since.





‘I Feel You’ from Songs of Faith and Devotion is still one of my greatest openers of all time and ‘Stripped’ from Black Celebration is still one of the greatest songs I’ve ever heard at a club.



Of them three moments ‘stripped’ was the bigger mind blower. It just sounded so fucking incredible and opened up my eyes to how good the band are/were.

Fuck yeah, cannot believe a band this large in sound came from Bas.

Bet they were an insane live show in the early 90s. I somewhat remember them from the Playing the Angel / Sounds of the Universe era in my dad's car not sounding very good at the time lol.

While I disagree that the Shinoda version is better, I am damn happy to see that remix get some attention. I used to jam it hardddddddd back in the day.
