Disc 1 had some gems (Jellybelly, Here Is No Why, Muzzle and especially Galapogos). Looking forward to Disc 2, already know 1979, which is amazing in my opinion.

Spinning it. I should dig, I always curse me ugly organ for being so tiny and shrivelled.

Bodies is a great track, need to check out this whole album. Seems like quite a slog though.

To me, it sounds as generic of a short and loud grunge single as any talented Seattle band back then could write.

I'm sort of a grunge authority around here so just trust me here :]

I think zero is alright. Definitely one of the weaker on the album. But, the only "bad" song on here is Bullet with butterfly wings. I always skip it

Awesome album all around, but yeah, disc 2 is much more inconsistent

An album doesn't have to be perfect tunes all around to be considered a classic, you know?

To clarify, let me give ya an example. Take Doolittle, by Pixies. Silver is obviously shit but it doesn't overshadow the awesomeness of the other 14 or so tracks.

Yeah true actually. I've always really felt bad about giving albums 5s without absolutely loving EVERY track. But that makes a lot of sense putting it that way

Yeah I was just kidding, two relatively weak songs on a 28-song double album can definitely justify a 5

I'll never understand the whole album has to be flawless to 5 it malarkey.

Sometimes it's the ugliness that makes perfection. Warts 'n all is what it's all about.

Yeah almost all my 5s have that one track that is clearly weaker than the rest, if only slightly.

Oh you're forgiven then. 1,000 Smiling Knuckles m/

Also, Zak makes a great point as always.
