hmmm idk. I think Voivod, Coroner, Demolition Hammer, Heathen, and maybe Kreator top these guys in overall consistency.

Still, this is definitely a top 5 thrash release.

Demo Ham is another harddddd classic for me, but I put them in the thrash/death hybrid category

Fan of all those bands, but none can top RIP. This is one of the rare albums in the "godly" category.

Holy Wars will always be the definitive banger here. But as a random song in 2019 I may want to hear I'd go with Five Magics. Poison rules too tho (and the entire album...even Polaris) m/.

99 Ways to Die is a solid answer. Gonna go So Far So Good album - specifically "Hook in Mouth." Dude sounds so pissed on the track and I love it.

RIP - Tornado of Souls and S/T, if I make a point not to chose Holy Wars.

Dave Vocals - Fave is probably A Secret Place

I'm definitely spinning this in full when I get to beer number 3 this evening. And yh, imo Five Magics and Holy Wars are the defining songs on this album, but all of them are too good.

Did you know that RIP and MOP were originally released as a double album under the name Megadica?

the idea of Kirk being involved in this in any way just does not compute, even as a figment of imagination.

It computes just fine in my walnut-sized brain.

Lars couldn't even play Dawn Patrol

Imagine dawn patrol with chromatic scales and the wah pedal on the whole time
