Waffle House rules. My dad and I have a longstanding tradition of going out late on Christmas Eve for pecan waffles. Very special place

IHOP...idk. Solid childhood memories troubled by the filth in which I found myself, 3 AM my first November of grad school, writing on the Táin in a very cricket infested house of pancakes, nowhere else to go. Guess it says something that I technically coulda been in the library, and it's been long enough now for a (possible) redemption arc but man that experience still sits with me

Only real weak spot is 'House of Cards' imo. Even then, I don't hate it. It just feels oddly out of place? (And a little too long...)

I’ve searched this album for a least favorite song several times, always failed.

Very interesting seeing this become the consensus favourite Radiohead album as the major music press and traditional tastemakers have lost their influence. I'll always be a Kid A gal myself.

Absolutely no skips. I should have this at 5 since it’s my favorite Radiohead and I probably have OK Computer at a 5

Prolly the best thing this has going for it is its seemingly endless listenability. I don't think it's possible to get sick of it, and listening fatigue is just nowhere to be found. They really nailed something special about the sound, production, and composition in that regard

I prefer some of the eclecticism found in other albums and don't think this one has quite the highest highs, so I don't feel the intense hype around it but I get it

Surely you could ad absurdum that, I’d get sick of any album if it legit played nonstop in my earbuds/home/whatever
