There are “good” songs on the rest of the album but I wouldn’t go out of my way to listen to them

HTTT has higher highs than this but definitely lower lows for me

Not sure which I'd take to a desert island ... probably HTTT

The last four songs here are way better than the last five on HTTT tbh. Not only as individual tracks, but the flow is nicer too. At least the sense of 'trailing off' here feels like surrender, to sleep or death or the ocean or something. I Will onwards is just a fucking mess

Burn the Witch is certainly worse than anything on HTTT

Idk about the last four here but I’d also say some of the worst stuff on HTTT is at least more…. *interesting* than that flatliner of a back half

This and HTTF are my lowest rated Radiohead LPs (with the exception of Pablo, which essentially ‘doesn’t exist’ to me).

Put a gun to my head and I’d kill this one tbh. Hail is inconsistent but occasionally has some peaks, this just flatlines for large parts of the duration. Milquetoast.

Pablo Honey and aThe Bends both don’t exist for me lol

Yeah I’d be happy not to hear The Bends again, it had an important time and a place in my life, but I certainly don’t need it anymore.

OKC is a different story, will probably only dust it off very occasionally but that’s fine.

The absence of a hyphen in the title (i.e. A Moon-Shaped Pool) implies that the pool in question was shaped by the moon, not that it shares the same shape as the moon. I’ve always wondered if this was intentional or if Jonny or Thom just forgot a hyphen when sending in the album info to whomever makes this shit official.

Album reminds me of a moon-shaped stool I once dropped off at the pool
