I think this is officially my favorite Floyd now, perfect example of how to write long, multi-part songs that consistently introduce new ideas without getting too far from the heart of the song

both of those are far different from each other and everything that precedes them. their early discog has some great variety so I wouldn't recommend using their sound as a comparison

Their most interesting albums were the ones that Roger went full political on his lyrics (animals, The Wall, The Final Cut), I have mixed feelings for the rest of the albums in lyrical terms.
