Betrayer is just balls to the wall even when they do the post-metal, just noisy as fuck. Plus their melodys are good and the breakdowns kick ass and are few and far between.

This band just has a few post-metal parts like Amia. The sludge/post-metal genre has churned out some decent music over the past few years like Mare, of course Mahumado, Mouth of the Architect and Rorcal to name a few.
