I wouldn't place Ulcerate in my Top 5 dm bands of the 21st century tbh, but it's undeniable they are one of the most influential and venerated dm bands nowadays. They just lack something when it comes to LP songwriting for me. Something that bands like Gorguts, Defeated Sanity, Blood Incantation, Immolation or Alkaloid do have. That being said Shrines and EiF are albums I regard quite highly.
