Megadave is simply not a good vocalist, this is an acquired taste [2]

It's kinda funny how Megadave vocals suck but RIP is the best thrash album of all time.

'Don't listen to this for the vocals.'

I doubt many people listen to this for the vox but they need to be bearable, it can be an obstacle for some.

Given TSOP by Death was already one of my favourite albums, Vektor's vocals were never that off-putting to me.

@Strike That's definitely true. Dave's a terrible singer, but RIP is my favourite thrash album ever. Thrash is all about the riffs.

In an unexpected turn of events, TR is revealed to be a conceptual album about the band itself, and a metaphor for its falling apart.

I think that makes the concept less interesting & will therefore attempt to discard this information. I prefer the fantasy/escapism angle to the ‘this is a band writing about the band’ one. I’m thankful it wasn’t obvious to begin with & it won’t change anything for me personally, just a thought.

Someone needs to make that guy snap out of it. God damn artists always being so dramatic.

Yeah, you don't have to share that dramatic shit on Facebook, especially after it has been so many weeks since the break up. I know he might feel that way, but that doesn't mean you have to post it.

He has always sounded a little autistic. Some manager is fucking up.

Jamming Black Future right now, seems fitting given the ‘revelations’

Forests of Legend for new GOAT Vektor, the melodic parts of that towards the back end actually remind me of Morningrise, probably why I love it so much m/

Vox have grown on me a little. Had to bump the rating a bit because the instruments underneath are really fucking solid.

Forests of Legend agreed. That and Accelerating Universe are my favourite Vektor songs outside of Terminal Redux.
