I don't know, this has PULCHRITUDINOUS melodies, great dynamics and flow, great lyrics, but it just washes over me now, despite being more metallic and riff oriented and intense than their past few it still feels too airy and ethereal to pack a visceral punch
But I've been on an atmospheric sludge metal kick this week so I guess I'm subconsciously comparing it to a whole different genre.
I'll probably come back around to it. Or I won't.
