Agreed, I absolutely adore the sounds of this vinyl. Me thinks most their recording process is analogue, and if it isn't, they do a fine job at making the whole signal chain sound very organic. I can usually spot it on my vinyl set up because my own signal chain is 100% analogue. Tube phono, fully passive preamp and a class ab amplifier straight to the speakers.



Some days I think to myself "wow my Ulcerate rankings look a lot like their discography in chronological order, almost" and I say that as someone who's been a fan since their Destroyers' era. They do, in many ways, keep getting better with age.
