It's almost worth the mounds of hyperbolic claims it receives.

While Jonny’s performance is less monotonous than last time, and he certainly produces his best batch of songs yet here, sonically I still find it tiring to get through more than a few tracks at once. Even if I think they are all good.

Jarred Wallace gives a restrained performance relative to his past work, that reminds one of Sean Reinert’s drumming on Traced in Air compared to Focus. It serves the album well, but, it feels a bit lacking overall in that unlike Reinert he doesn’t know when to unleash the old beast, and instead has chosen to put it to death.

It's a beautiful thing. I cannot (yet) bring myself to contribute towards it's inevitable collapse. It'll be a fairly small contrib, but every little helps (or hurts in this case)

I was actually wondering because in french a bodega is a pub lol, but apparently Bodega Head is a place near Santa Rosa (where the band comes from), a promontory in Bodega Bay. Looks beautiful.
