ok yeah the new one isn’t bad. pretty much all the stuff I didn’t like about the previous few is gone. like they actually focused on writing good songs for the first time.

This is their worst for sure. Great band tho. Style AND substance at their best. Then again some people just want the same boring OSDM / wave 1 BM a thousand times over. At least these guys have a unique identity

hmm that’s strange hawks, unexpected I’d say given it reminds me more of Alpha
no I’m just thinking that when a style has already been perfected I’d rather hear something different. Most of it doesn’t land, but these guys are captivating even in the disso black / death realm where everyone is trying to sound like Gorguts, Ulcerate, DSO etc. It’s becoming stale

New album ain't clicking with me as much as this or Vile Luxury either. It's too soon to sat but I think it's below their best albums. It's still enjoyable and in the band's avant-garde spirit, that's for sure

Yep!! I REALLY miss the dark jazz elements on the new one. It does riff but man idk it just feels like riffing just to riff at this point. Fuck bros idk. Its just boring to me. :[

What’s interesting is how much this bands fans fall into buckets lol. Like the more weird styles some love others hate. Their earlier original metal styles some love, some are bored with.
Like I understand all of the perspectives but I much prefer the new one style wise to some of their prior works although none is bad. Some is just… nondescript?
