When he’s on his a game there’s nobody better, I just don’t know if he’s been inspired the way he was in his early days anymore. Shit is a bummer but it happens a lot

you just don't understand it. he sharply pronounces the syllables in "baby" to reflect the sharp racial divide in America or something

This em dude has barely even scratched the surface of quintessential 90’s hip hop talkin like he’s a wise old head sage and jay z being the goat

It’s giving poser realness

"This will go down as kendricks worst 100 percent."

oh I'm sure it will... doesn't make it less than a 4 for me considering I love his other stuff at a 4.5 or higher

so yeah, call me "mentally retarded" for rating this over a 3.5, love you!

Pretty solid. A bit too much filler. Far from his best, but another solid album indeed.

tbh its been a common minor criticism of kendrick for his entire career but this is the first time his voice has really bothered me at points, at least when he tries to do anything melodic. its the main sticking point for me with count me out and crown in particular, just does not have the voice for it. he hits the notes obv but just because he can doesn't mean he should

serafina flame in ice

I'm glad that Kenny finally nailed the pop songs on this one, Damn had Loyalty but otherwise the poppier vibe kinda failed, but he killed it on this one when he reached for the club beats lol

"I can tell who all the junk mumble rap fans are by digging this."

Oh great here comes the dusty lame nigga that only listens to oldhead hiphop trying to shit on people for enjoying something other than the lyrical miracle boombap shit he's into.
