Midnificent.
I'd put that as my top with UFOF second.

Get back in your ball, Pikachu!
I just like the tactility of Two Hands. No flashy production. Just tight instrumentation and good songs.

Two Hands is my most listened to Big Thief. Real savvy to quickly ground the eerie cosmic energy of UFOF with the earthier delights on Two Hands, considering the fervor that can grow in that vacuum of indiehead space. Right on with Joe about its tactility.

My first listen to Two Hands was a revelation, and then I came on this site and people were shitting on it and I was very sad.

Everyone likes different things, I suppose. It depends which spaces you go to. Their stuff is so good that I can see everyone having a different favourite.

I listened to Two Hands after UFOF and was disappointed but it's still good

There is just a little too much that is inessential on Dragon... UFOF is tighter and a more satisfying listen overall. They are both excellent though.
Need to listen to Two Hands more to be qualified to rank it.

I listen to Two Hands more often than UFOF, but the latter is easily the better one - just requires a certain mood, I find

I wish I spent more time revisiting this release, there is just too much good new music out there right now and its not slowing up. Catching up this week since I wasn't interested in many new releases from today, going to spin this a couple times this weekend out of respect for the effort here

bro some of these songs are so amazingly beautiful, yet there's a couple of meh tracks draggin them down. So close to perfection aaaah it's kinda frustrating because this has real AOTY potential, for sure.
Oh and i know songs like 'sparrow' or 'wake me up to drive' are not gonna "grow on me", they are really boring, i don't like them at all.

Death's like a door
To a place we've never been before
Death, like space
The deep sea, a suitcase
Change is an absolute classic, has that heartfelt feel and a different part of it hits like a revelation every time.

Whoever hates "Wake Me Up to Drive" hates fun
But honestly this is such a fucking JOY to listen to front to back that I've played it so many times while ignoring re-listening to other albums I really liked like Ants From Up Here
