i remember first discovering this band (the song "stabwound" in particular) because someone uploaded an mp3 claiming it was by Death. so i downloaded it. i was like 13 but immediately recognized it sounded nothing like Death, but whoever it was, it was awesome.

the fact that this came out in the mid 2000s is just insane



feels like something a computer wrote just out of sheer technicality, but there is a lot of emotion in his playing



i just wish there was some type of closure to his journey. how does one of the best metal guitarists on the planet just decide to stop?
