WHO CONTROLS THE MIND THAT DRIFTS TO HELL?

Is that one of those zen riddles like 'who is the master who makes the grass green?'

It could also be something a Bond villain says before injecting his enemy with a strong psychedelic compound.

One of the few bands I've tracked for the longest time but never seen live. Need to populate the rest of their discography with ratings. I've heard it all at some point, but for some albums it was so long ago. These guys deserve the time.

Same for me - just rectified that with tickets in October and cannot wait. Been on a massive discog run to rank all their albums, if no other reason that to see where they all landed.

Fortunately the drummers don't really have any bearing on this band's sound anyway.

It's all about that Mackintosh sound.

There we go. In Requiem is one of my favorite Paradise Lost albums. Hopefully they're moving closer to that era's songs again, too.

okay that's pretty good news, let's see if he can stay on board for more than one record. curious tho, does that mean he won't perform on the new record since it seems to be done?

The band posted a video today on instagram with a solid clip of a new song. Sounded sick.

i'm too lazy to check which song the've self-plagiarized with the melodic section in the middle but fuck me if it's not exactly the same as something they've already put out

starts at 2:00 or thereabouts, it's kinda throwing me off. also i'm not a huge fan of the non-growl singing style as it's reminiscent of Tragic Idol, but I think he pulls it off a bit better here. excited for the record as usual

like the art and love the album title too

Tragic Idol is one of my favorite albums from PL so I don't have any problems with the vocals at all. Great start for the new album
