i figure that is sarcasm since they are such a music video oriented band their whole career, only the best music videos. they literally have 12 music videos for 12 songs not even on LPs

Total sarcasm lol been listening to them since TTTS era. Dont dig their newer stuff but just jam what i like now. Maybe they'll release something I'll like again in the future

yeah the livestream was good.

Convinced me to get another leg of their tour down in bexhill. Gonna be a trek but quite like the idea of a more intimate gig

Yo Rou plays the trumpet live alongside the keys, synth, guitar and vocals? What a man

Yeah this album gave me a refreshed and newfound passion for the band and I’ve already ordered my tickets for the Brooklyn show in April. Haven’t seen them in 10 years so I’m super excited. I hope their set list is a bit meatier than that of the livestream, which it should be. Love that they did Marionettes in the live stream though, so so good.

Marionettes might be their best song full stop that shit slaps

Just wish I could play both parts when it comes up on shuffle.

that livestream was excellent (as always with these guys), thanks for the link onion. And you can really hear the work on vocal layering here.

The band is releasing these "mini-docs" about each of the tracks off of this album and the context to the writing and thought process behind creating the songs. Very interesting content, albeit nothing out of the norm from Rou and the gang.

It's crazy that a band capable of writing jigsaw pieces would be as fucking bad as these guys are
