Bassy was cool at first but the first half drags. ending is dope. Care is good but it's literally modern DGD formula - the song.



i'll check the instrumental version in full later but Son of Robot definitely stands out better without vocals

I think the leads might be turned up for the instrumental version, I dont remember some of the melodies being this clear in the standard version

Yeah, vox are an integral part of the band. The instrumentals help the sound pop out more though.

I'm really enjoying the instrumental versions (great for studying to), but I agree that as an entity this is largely better with vox. Except for songs like Midnight Crusade where I kinda dislike the vocals' interaction with the instruments, ech.

the instrumental version has the distinct advantage of being a much easier listen while working, and I basically have all the vocal melodies stuck in my hed anyway

After thinking about it the version with the vox is way better (just have to say though it's bizarre that DGD release their album instrumental, but not Periphery...? at least their most recent albums, certainly very strange to me anyway)
