i recommend reading the very hungry caterpillar i know people look down on it because its a childrens book but dont let that dissuade you! they're just elitists trying to gatekeep literature, there's nothing wrong with enjoying something aimed at a younger audience if it's good! (see also: my little pony)
i haven't read a single book since i finished high school because english class killed my love for reading but coming back to the very hungry caterpillar has rekindled (heh) my love for literature! all i can say is wow, just wow!
